We've been having such a nice summer. Beatrice, Summer, and Dev came this morning to the Little Gym to see Rosemary perform her tricks. Beatrice seemed underwhelmed, but Rosemary enjoyed showing off her balance beam skills.
It seems we are raising a little fashionista -- she is really, really into her "necknaces". Above pictures were from our annual trip to the Ritz at Dana Point (compare her now to pictures on this blog from July last year at the Ritz) for James's conference. She went NUTS for the pool, but was afraid of the ocean. Above she was playing in her giant "sandbox" as she called it, without cracking a smile -- she was on the lookout for the giant bulldozer that did beach cleanup that (justifiably) freaked her out.
After a tough weekend at the Ritz, we did go to the San Diego zoo to see the meercats and the petting zoo (she was afraid of the goats, which is why she's telling them "bye bye"). She kept saying "more animals" all day after that experience.
