Some catching up to do...

So, I am woefully behind, so I am going to post a bunch of videos and pictures from pre-Christmas and Christmas and then do a post about January...Some pictures from our family trip to Austin, including Peternales Falls (on a freezing 25 degree day!), the Austin Art Museum, and a Nani sandwich!

Rosemary insists that we put Louis in her crib each morning now. She also has CLEARLY learned how to ham it up for the camera!










Rosemary and I went on a festive horse-drawn carriage ride in Montrose before Christmas


Aunt Katy visited in December and here she teaches Rosemary Norwegian!


Louis is delighted with his gift from Santa, a helium balloon (tied to him for added enjoyment)




We had a little dinner with friends before going to see Christmas Tree Lane lights (which was CANCELED due to rain). The kids still had fun -- the video is of Rosemary and Jackson holding hands (not sure Jackson has any say in this and, in fact, she cried when he refused to let her hold his OTHER hand)

The two babies really had a fun time. Louis perfected his smile (which he just started doing before we arrived in Dallas) and Beatrice worked on her crawling. Louis also got a GI Joe in his stocking ! (channeling his dad's pension for guns this Christmas)

James got progressively more redneck the longer we stayed in Texas (this is his cammo gear to go along with his Christmas duck-hunting trip that I gave him, along with his new sunglasses from his mom)


We got snow in Dallas on Christmas Day -- the first time in recorded history

As a special Christmas treat to us all, Dev actually wore pants in the morning

Rosemary slept in my mom and dad's closet (nice and dark and, best of all, didn't wake up her parents earlier than necessary!) -- and took quite a liking to my mom's shoes. In fact, she accidentally knocked down her whole shoe rack in the process of stealing a particularly appealing gold heel.
