An equally useful skill, she can now shake her head "no". Its extremely cute, but I was having a hard time getting her to do it for the camera (as you can see, the camera in the above video shakes a lot from my trying to get her to imitate me). We don't think it really means "no" but its sure funny. She is also starting to say "da da," again somewhat randomly but it makes James feel good. Two things that are definitely deliberate, however, are waving "bye" and "ma ma" (it also means a lot of other things, but I know it means me, at least once in a while). Oh, and Marie says she can point to the eyes on her Raggedy Ann doll when you ask.
In other news, Rosemary has held up her height at 90th percentile, thank goodness. She is now 20 pounds (only average :-), and can eat all kinds of things including blueberries (her favorite), small pieces of bagel (which take forever and are therefore extremely useful), and frozen peas.
She tried her first ocean swim in Catalina Island last weekend. She really, really hated it. However, she enjoyed the sand and meeting her first English friend, Isaac.
