Rosemary decided to try her hand at camping with her friends Sadie and Henry at Sequoia National Monument. She had a fun time -- so much fun that she decided not to sleep one whole night (of course her parents almost froze her in the tent). She did see her first campfire, and Sequoia trees, and interacted with the other babies some (until she got freaked out and cried when someone grabbed her feet). Her Uncle Dev (aka her favorite person) has some even better pictures we'll post later, of the whole group on a hike to the death-defying Needles Lookout. Rosemary's mom was really happy to spend the weekend with her best friends, even if it was a lot of work. Lots of new traditions are just beginning -- and what a better way to start than a typical Mina Death March! Fortunately her friends still trust her.
Below are a few pictures from the "baby abandonment series" (see Death Valley post).
