Death Valley, A Meeting of Minds & Back to Work

Rosemary's mommy feels nostalgic tonight, as it is her last night of maternity leave. Rosemary has grown up so much in the last three and a half months that we decided she could make it on her own in Death Valley last weekend.


It was a wonderful trip where Rosemary got to meet her adorable new friend Sadie. (Felix has even better baby-meeting pictures which are forthcoming ... stay tuned.) Turns out, Sadie is a very well behaved baby and was a good influence on her -- the four parents had an honest-to-goodness adult dinner two nights in a row (Rosemary even allowed her parents to order dessert! She just slept in her stroller until almost 10 PM!)

Dolly & Mina got to see each other for the first time since they've had babies. An adventurous place for new moms, they got to feed them on the sand dunes as the storm (yes, it rained on us in the driest place in North America) rolled in!
