We had an amazing Christmas -- two weeks in Chicago replete with fluffy white snow and traditional special Norwegian (and Spindler) holiday meals. Rosemary had a wonderful time with her grandparents and aunts and uncles (her first time meeting Uncle Tom). She also managed to knock down a whole Christmas tree! She said her first word other than "fish," which is "night night" and started doing a princess wave (we have to catch that on video -- to come).

Then we came back to a fabulous party with Becky & Murray, as well as Dolly, Sadie, Felix, and Katie and Henry visiting us in Pasadena. We had a terrific time hanging out in our garden drinking cordials, going to the Arboretum & eating dumplings, and playing on the beach with the babies. Below is video of the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life. Seriously. Rosemary now also says "more" and "hi!" and "fish" (still). My mom is visiting and we recently had a great shower for Summer, who is due to deliver "Torque" in June. Rosemary's first first cousin (she has many illustrious second cousins)!
