Today, Rosemary took her first step. Its amazing -- yesterday she stood on her own (unsupported) for the first time at Marie's house. We were there visiting, and Rosemary was so happy to see her that I think she forgot to be scared. And then, today, James and I picked her up together from USC, and she stepped away from the guard rail towards James. It might be some time before we get footage of the great event, but to tide you over, I have her reaction to some pieces of nectarine. As Marie knows, she loves doing her "nectarine smack-down"
Rosemary recently had a visit from Marilyn Block, who is the creator of so many of her adorable clothes. She is now into her ducks, bathing, and, more generally, being a hippo.
